You Data

Youdata.com/join/mrsknapp

Have you tried Youdata? It is an innovative marketing strategy. How many times have you seen ads that have NOTHING to do with anything you care about? Quite a bit, right? Youdata actually PAYS you to view ads that are associated with things that interest YOU! It is geared to YOU and your likes! Amazing huh? I've been using Youdata since May. It is great, you have a "mefile" which you answer as much or as little as you like so they can pinpoint what ads will appeal to you. You will NOT get rich with youdata. But hey, why not get paid, for paying attention?

To sign up you need:
  • a paypal account. (They pay out every week on Fridays)
  • the ability to recieve One and only one text message on your cell phone. (this is for account verification)

Like I said, you won't get rich, but in these days, every penny counts, right? I've made probably close to $30 since May. Won't you click on my referral link and sign up? Youdata.com/join/mrsknapp I promise you won't be sorry.

I like diet coke. A few years ago, Coca Cola began running a rewards program, "My Coke Rewards" for every 20 oz bottle or 2 liter bottle you bought there was a code worth 3 points in the lid, and for every 12 pack, there was a code for 10 points. I worked outside the home at the time and usually bought 3 diet cokes throughout the day at work and each week I would see where 12 packs were on sale and we would buy them. The points quickly added up.

I began to scour the recycling bins everytime I went into the break room, and a few people would give me their lids. A "mild" obsession ensued. First I would cash in 100 points for a coupon for a free 12 pack, then I realized I could get more "bang for my buck" and for less than 200 points I could get a 12 month magazine subscription. For 3 years in a row my mother, and 3 sisters got a magazine subscription from me, and last year (since I was expecting) I got myself a subscription to Parents magazine.

Well, here we are in FL now, and $$ is tight. I have 2 skillets, but one is on it's (porverbial) last legs. I've been saving my coke points since November and I had 835. I was just scanning the coke rewards site and saw that I could redeem 1300 points for a 3 pc Farberware skillet set. So, I made it my mission to do so.

Most women would be thrilled if hubby came home with flowers or jewelry or even candy. I was tickled when Fred came home with a lid for me. Ha ha

We had a friend staying with us for about 6 weeks and he got in on it too, he would go to toss stuff in the dumpster and if there was a coke product near the top he would grab it for me. (I found out that the 24 packs offered 20 points. I put out an APB on Facebook asking for codes that friends would just be throwing out otherwise. In less than a month I had earned the 465 points I needed to get my pans. (Now I just have to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery. But I'll have some trusty new pans!

I'll say it again, if anyone has any coke codes that they don't plan to use, send them my way. I'll gladly use them! (My account balance is down in the single digits right now)

Mypoints

mypoints is an oldie but goodie here on the net. I've been a member for probably close to 10 years.

How MyPoints Works
Earn Points

  • Earn Points for doing what you already do online: shopping, reading emails, playing games, searching the web, taking surveys, and more!
  • The more you do, the more Points you'll earn.

Shop or Book Travel

  • All the stores and brands you already love and trust are in one place, making shopping, booking travel and earning Points a breeze.
  • Find the best products, prices and deals.

Redeem Rewards

  • Use your Points to get gift cards for nearly 100 different stores and restaurants -- or enjoy gas cards, airline miles and hotel discounts. You pick the rewards you want.
  • Gift cards are quickly delivered to your door, free of charge.

If you are not a member send me your email address, and I'll send you a referral link. (you get points for people you refer too, so it's a win/win situation.

I do minimal shopping online so my points just from reading emails usually net me at least $50 worth of gift cards a year. Hey, it's free!

Skort

Thanks to my mom, my sisters and my friend Renee I have tons of onesies for Lydia, but I have only a few skirts. Thanks to Swagbucks (see the widget on the left? Click there) I had $15 worth of Amazon Gift Cards waiting to be used. I ordered 2 skorts from The Children's Place through Amazon for $3.99 each plus $5 shipping. I still have a credit with Amazon toward my next purchase! Some people may not feel like it was a "bargain" but I'm happy with it!

Frann's Daughter

My Mother (Frann) was thrifty. As a child we referred to her in the alliterave as "Frugal Frann". It always had a negative connotation. My sister Kim (the first to drive and therefore the first to be sent on errands) was mortified if my mother gave her coupons to use at the supermarket.

Now that we are older (and wiser) we too coupon, and refund and make the most of our bucks. Here is my blog dedicated to rewards/coupons/incentives.

My sister kim is now one of those people who will get $300 worth of stuff and have them pay her to take it. (I may be exaggerating, but only slightly)

I am Stacey a SAHM of a 9 month old daughter living in the FL panhandle. Welcome.
