Shredded Wheat

YUM!  Glad I like Shredded Wheat!  I had an internet coupon for $5 off 5 Boxes of Kellogg's Cereal.  (there is currently a $4 off 4 at htttp://www.coupons.com go print it before it is gone!

Publix had Kellogg's Shredded Wheat (All Varieties) for 2 for $5!  I got 1 plain, 1 original frosted, 1 strawberry frosted, 1 cinnamon, and one maple and brown sugar!  YUM!  Fiber and Frugality!

STUFF

Growing up, my mother created a casserole out of necessity. It was a hit, and it is a comfort to me still today.

We didn't know it was created out of necessity, we assumed it was created out of love, but we had no grocery money - and it was what she had in the camper.

We asked her what it was called, she said, "Stuff"

It was:

• 1 lb bulk pork sausage, browned and drained
• 1/2 to 1 lb elbow macaroni cooked and drained
• 1 can of sweet peas
• 1-2 cans of beef gravy 

Mix on stovetop until hot and serve.  I made some today.  It tasted like a childhood of love. (I DID however substitute Jimmy Dean TURKEY Sausage crumbles)

Confesssions of a Progresso Soup Addict

I have never made home made soup. I grew up on Campbells, but I discovered Progresso Chicken Noodle in my 20's. Oh.My.Word. I can't get enough! Except for the price. I REFUSE to pay full price. LOL

If you're in one of the Southern States that has Publix - at the front of the store is an "Italian Days" display with several different coupons on it. One is for $1 off 4 Progresso items. The Progresso Soup is still B1G1 this week. They come out to 94 cents a can. Stock up!

A long time ago, I used to go to nightclubs and stuff. PRAISE GOD I'm a different person now. This song was the first song I danced with my (now) husband to, in July 2003....

I don't know if it is true, but I heard that the last song Whitney Houston sang before she died was "Jesus Loves Me".
